3D music films

One of the most impressive presentations on 3D Media 2010 in Liège for us came from the Galaxy Studio's with their demo of the Auro 3D system. You can imagine that we felt very honoured when they contacted us to ask if we would like to be part of their demo-reel. One of the first opportunities to work together would be the 3D sound and 3D image registration of the Carmina Burana at the Basiliek de Koekelberg in Brussels performed by "het orkest der lage landen" and a 200 piece choir. But unfortunately this occasion did not provide the proper setting for high-quality 3D sound capture nor had it the proper lighting needed for high-quality 3D-image recording. Nevertheless it provided us with an opportunity to get more experienced with capturing large scale performances and to work together with the experienced team of Henk Leurink and Amber Heemskerk.
